Andrew Moses was born in Pittsburgh PA in 1979 where he
developed a love for music at an early age. He was playing steel-string acoustic
and electric guitars by the time he was thirteen years old. At the age of
fifteen he began to study classical piano, focusing on the works of Bach,
Beethoven, and Chopin. Moses attended Westchester University from 1998 - 2003
where he studied classical guitar performance under Glenn Lyons (a former
student of Aaron Shearer), and classical piano repertoire under Dr. Richard
Veleta. He earned a Bachelor of Music Instrumental Performance degree with a
minor in piano and a concentration in music theory and composition. He continues
to compose, perform, and record new music for the six and seven-string classical
guitar as well as numerous genres for the electric guitar, piano, and electric
bass. He is currently recording a collection of songs for steel string
acoustic guitars and vocals.
